Departing from the standard repertoire of guitar music from the Renaissance to the present, I look for strong links between the pieces in order to develop a concert program. There must be a thread or central idea that connects the works and with which I deeply identify. |

Fifteen musicians from different regions of South America presented a wide musical panorama from classical to folklore, tango and jazz; even a Mariachi group performed! Although it was a lot of work to look for sponsors, to select the performing artists, and to do the publicity, the two concerts packed the Otto-Braun-Saal in Berlin and it was great fun to be there. top/ |
